Day 1, 1/19/10
On the first day of class we learn about gmail and set up this blog you are reading right now. I am slowly learning how these blogs and how they help with the ISTE's Educational Technology Standards for Teachers. This blog fall under standard three, Model Digital-Age Work and Learning. Standard 3B states: "Teachers exhibit knowledge, skills, and work processes representative of an innovative professional in a global and digital society. Teachers collaborate with students, peers, parents, and community members using digital tools and resources to support student success and innovation.". We used this blog to create a wordle with Oakland, California students.

This is a good start! Be specific how this blog is meeting the standard. I might feel obvious but remember your audience is the world and they should be able to picture how this blog is being used in this course just by reading this post.
